Moscow: How it was at the May 2021 Screenings
On May 26 we watched the films of the final program of the third season of the festival.
This time the atmosphere of the screening was created by the amazing pianist and composer Arseniy Trofim!
Then Rina Grishina, the creator and director of Moscow Shorts, shared with the audience the plans of the festival for the near future. A closing week with daily screenings, watching film-winners of the year, fascinating meetings with our lecturer Lamara Karchava and much more is waiting for us! We’ll reveal more details soon – stay tuned on social media.
The final screening of the year at Moskino Kosmos was well attended! We watched 7 terrific shorts and discussed about a few of them.
The favorite of audience was the musical video “B-2 – God of the Jilted”. Vladimir Besedin and Evgeny Mlyukov, the director and operator of the film, came on stage with Lamara Karchava. The spectators learned from the creators about the idea of incarnation of the film and the choice of characters. The fans of Bi-2 certainly were impressed!
The deep meaning of animated films from Serbia and France was also noted. Guests shared their opinions both in the hall of the cinema and in the post-screening posts.
The last short, “Chocolate Lamp,” also delighted the audience. The screening ended on a positive note, and that’s great!)
Thanks to everyone who was with us that night.
