Bonding is developed between the relatives of patients sitting in the waiting room. I found this world different and during the time of pandemic, lot many of us would relate to it.
What is the meaning of life and death? It asks a meaningful question\u201d \u201cKnowing about it and unaware of it.. Is this the difference between life and death? This thought in the story attracted me to the story. As a director, subtility, calmness and the thought in the story made me to film it.
There was another undercurrent in the story that. Women are generally taken for granted. I felt like underlining this in my film.
The story begins on a very familiar and simple note but towards the end it reaches to a level of realisation. As a director to bring it live on screen was very challenging for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A mother who works hard for the welfare of her child, is unable to buy slippers for her own due to poor financial condition. The boy works on a juice cart during school vacations and tries to save every last penny he earns. While working on the juice cart, the boy likes a pair of sandals from a shoe shop. He tries to save the money to buy that pair for himself. Meanwhile, the boy receives a book on the life of Rajmata Jijau and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. That gives him a new perspective on the mother-son relationship. The boy, well aware of his mother\u2019s hardships, sacrifices his dream of buying himself a sandal and purchases slippers for his mother with the money he saved during school holidays.  Kumkumarchan is a Puja ritual, where the Goddess is worshipped by offering the sacred Kumkum on her feet. The differently abled boy in the story recognizes his mother\u2019s love and hardships. He puts aside his own dream of buying a slipper and instead, purchases the slipper for his mother\u2019s bare feet. This is his way of Kumkumarchan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunatic refers to a maniac, etymologically arriving from the belief that the Moon can give rise to intermittent periods of insanity, revealing people’s hidden madness. The scenario inspired from this point of view represents the innermost desire to go crazy under the bottom of human beings.  Daily life is a persona trapped in acting, and beyond this daily life, what does our mind desire? Maybe we are just not going crazy in order to fulfill our implicit and intangible responsibilities.      <\/p>\n\n\n\n
